Vehicles & Farming
AvalonEarth includes a drivable Tractor and three farm attachments. These are distributed by staff with /tractor give — they have no crafting recipe by default. Chain a full rig together and one pass can till, plant and reap.
Tractor
A rideable farm vehicle rendered from a custom model.
- Place the Tractor item on the ground, then right-click to mount and drive.
- Steer with normal movement keys; hold sprint for a speed boost.
- It runs on solid fuel — Coal, Charcoal or a Coal Block (a coal block lasts 9× as long). An action-bar gauge shows the remaining fuel.
- Refuel either by loading fuel into its fuel GUI, or — more conveniently — by parking next to a powered Fuel Pump, which pipes fuel straight into the tank.
- It has a built-in storage chest and a built-in harvester that cuts and replants ripe crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot) it drives over.
Attachments & the Wrench
The Plow, Planter and Harvester are towable attachments. Link one to a tractor with the Wrench:
- Right-click an attachment with the Wrench to select it.
- Right-click a tractor to attach.
- Right-click an attached attachment to detach it.
Plow
Tills dirt, grass, coarse dirt, podzol, etc. into farmland in a strip behind the tractor.
Planter
Plants seeds loaded into its (or the tractor's) storage along the path: wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot on farmland, and nether wart on soul sand.
Harvester
Cuts ripe crops along the path and deposits the drops into the towing tractor's storage (overflow falls on the ground).
