Jetpacks

Jetpacks let you fly in bursts. There are two: the Electric Jetpack (rechargeable) and the Fuel Jetpack. Both are worn in the chestplate slot and fired by double-tapping jump.

Electric Jetpack
Crafted with a Battery. Rechargeable — top it back up by shapeless-crafting it with another Battery.
Fuel Jetpack
Crafted with an Engine and a Fuel Bucket.
How they work
- Wear the jetpack in your chestplate slot.
- Double-tap the jump key (toggle flight) to fire a boost upward. Each boost consumes one charge.
- Boosting builds heat. The action bar shows your current heat percentage.
- Each boost adds heat; at 100% the jetpack overheats and locks until it has cooled back down (it cools steadily when you stop boosting). This stops you from holding sustained infinite flight.
- When charge runs out, the jetpack stops working.
Heat is the real limiter — short, spaced boosts let the jetpack cool between hops, while spamming the boost will lock you out at 100% until it cools.
Recharging & repair
- The Electric Jetpack is recharged by shapeless-crafting it with a Battery.
- Jetpacks cannot be repaired or mended in an anvil; their durability is not consumed by ordinary item damage.
