SMP Survival Guide
Everything you need to master AvalonSMP —> jobs, progression, custom gear, crafting, and more.
1. Getting Started
Open your Jobs menu with:
Pick activities you enjoy, level your jobs up to tier 20, and unlock progressively stronger gear and crafting options.
Hunter
Kill mobs to earn XP and unlock powerful weapons.
Farmer
Harvest crops, craft food, and work with animals.
Alchemist
Strip logs, enchant gear, and brew potions.
Miner
Mine ores and smelt materials for XP and rewards.
2. Jobs
Daily cap: After 1,000 XP earned in one job per day, further XP in that job is reduced by 50%.
XP decay: The further above a method's unlock tier you are, the less XP that method gives.

Place to create a scarecrow. Fuel with Ignisium Ingots to boost nearby crop growth.

Plotium Centrifuge alchemist:11
Place and open to load Plotium Berries. More berries = higher success chance.

Stores one item type in large quantity.
- Right-click front → insert
- Left-click front → extract
Potion Launcher miner:8
Right-click to throw the first splash/lingering potion in your inventory.
Callback Enderpearl hunter:6
Works like an ender pearl, then returns you to your origin after a short delay.
Ignisium Apple hunter:14
Edible custom head food. On consume:
- Regeneration II (10s)
- Absorption II (2min)
- Strength I (20s)
- Fire Resistance I (5min)
6. Gemstones
Each gemstone has its own cooldown. A Random Gemstone is a single-use item that gives one random gemstone type.
Random Gemstone
Single-use. Gives one random gemstone.
Teleport Gemstone
Teleports you to a random location in a large radius.
Invisibility Gemstone
Grants invisibility to you and nearby players.
Fortune Gemstone
Gives a random amount of Aragonite or Ignisium ore.
Power Gemstone
Grants Resistance II, Water Breathing, and Fire Resistance.
Job XP Gemstone
Gives a random amount of XP to a random job.
Chaos Gemstone
Shuffles a target player's inventory.
7. Crafting Recipes
Craft locks: Some recipes require minimum job tiers. If your tier is too low, the recipe will not craft.
